What is Game Play?
Game Play is a mini-festival celebrating all the great moments that occur when we play together.
Join us for an action packed weekend at The Place Bedford where games of all shapes and sizes will take over all the spaces of the venue: Retro Arcade and Video Games consoles, tabletop board, card and action games, remote-controlled car racing, old-school tabletop role playing games, games of collaborative imagination, and some unique participatory experiences.
Game Play is a weekend filled with games, play and imaginative exploration suitable for all the family.
From Friday Afternoon to Sunday Evening a whole host of different play sessions, workshops, creative experiences and fun-filled events will be popping up throughout The Place. You can find out more information about the sessions, events and workshops happening in 2020 by visiting the other pages on this site.
Game Play is an opportunity to relax and spend quality time together with friends and family, chase away those Winter blues.
We have sessions throughout the weekend for younger players, teenagers and adults of all ages. You can choose to pop along for a short session only, or stay with us for the whole weekend.
With such an array of different activities, experiences and opportunities we know you’ll want to spend the weekend playing at our place.
